Brown with tough luck in Vegas trio, to follow High Limit to Central Arizona
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (March 16, 2026) - Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing rolled into Sin City with high hopes and big goals, but unfortunately, it was all tough luck for “Blackjack” in High Limit Racing’s 2026 season opener at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track, qualifying for one of three main events contested.
Dubbed the Blackjack Bash, the three-day contest featured some of the nation’s most talented open wheel aces, all of whom chasing the $21,000 payday up for grabs Saturday night. Despite the aforementioned tough luck, scored 24th in his only A-Main appearance of the weekend, the Grain Valley, Missouri, native and multi-time Knoxville Raceway Track Champion is eager and ready to continue, set to rejoin High Limit for three days in Arizona.
“Just a rough weekend all the way around in Vegas. We had high hopes heading into the event, especially when considering our past results. We were confident in our game plan, hoping we would unload really close to where we needed to be. Unfortunately, we were just a little off all weekend. Getting buried after qualifying can hurt your effort in a hurry,” Brian Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Wilkerson Crane Rental, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mountain Dew, Ditzfeld Transfer, Ditzfeld Container Service, No. 21 said. “But, that’s the great thing about racing…done on Saturday, but you get to try again on Thursday. We’re going to take what we learned and put our best foot forward. The season is young, and we’ve had some solid results thus far, we just need to make sure we go over the car and be fully ready when we head into Casa Grande.
“We’d also like to send out our most heartfelt condolences to the family of Billy Hurt, who lost his life in a tragic accident at Kennedale Speedway while responding to an accident, as well as Jerry, a World of Outlaws official who was also hurt in the same incident at Kennedale,” Brown added. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those families. Those guys put their life on the line to keep us safe and they can never be thanked enough.”

Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2026 campaign with three straight days at Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande, Arizona, beginning Thursday, March 19.
