Brian Brown concludes Volusia visit with top-five in WoO’s DIRTcar Nationals finale; Sin City road trip on deck

GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (February 9, 2026) - Brian Brown’s season-opening trip to the Sunshine State is officially complete, and despite a few hiccups in the mix including interference by Mother Nature on night two of the four-day World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series program, “Blackjack” did his best to maintain focus, eventually concluding competition with a pair of top-tens. Brown, who calls Grain Valley, Missouri, home, saved his best achievement for last, concluding the World of Outlaws segment of the annual DIRTcar Nationals with a fifth-place outcome on Saturday, February 7, starting from the pole before leading the first six circuits.

As noted, Brown, ace of his own Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Wilkerson Crane Rental, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mountain Dew, Ditzfeld Transfer, Ditzfeld Container Service, No. 21 sprint car, concluded the World of Outlaws stretch with two top-tens, the first being a tenth-place run from row seven to launch action on February 4.

With his Sunshine State stint complete, Brown will now look west, ready to help High Limit Racing kick-off their 2026 campaign in Sin City on March 12-14.

“Feels great to cap two weeks with a World of Outlaws top-five. I feel like our car was good enough to win, things just didn’t play out, and maybe I didn’t make all the right decisions from my seat. Regardless, all except one night we were in contention to win and that’s motivating, ” Brown stated. “Chad, JB, Devin..they worked hard our entire trip and did a phenomenal job. A great way to kick-off the year, as well as a great way to get a feel for my wrist and its condition. Gives me an idea on what I need to do before we head to Las Vegas. I'm still battling a little stiffness in my forearm, but I feel like I know what I need to do.”
