(April 2, 2018) – Brian Brown earned his first podium finish of the season last Friday at 81 Speedway during the opening night of the 8th annual Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout. “It started off really good for us,” he said. “They had a draw to line up the first heat races and then another draw to reset the numbers for the second set of heats. We had good draws all weekend.” Brown won his first heat race after starting on the outside of the front row and he claimed his second heat race from the pole position. (March 26, 2018) – Brian Brown will make his first start at 81 Speedway since 2016 when he invades the bullring in Park City, Kan., this Friday and Saturday during the 8th annual Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout. “We’ve been pretty good there,” he said. “It’s an event that keeps growing. It started out as $7,000 or $8,000 to win and now it’s $13,000 to win. I look for 40-to-50 cars so we’ll have our work cut out for us.” Brown has been a contender in nearly every race he’s tackled at the semi-banked oval, including a trip to Victory Lane in 2008.
